INFLUENCE OF CORRECTION KETONEMIA AND GLYCEMIA LEVEL ON THE ATTRACTION TO ETHANOL IN RATS WITH FORMING ALCOHOL ADDICTION
Abstract
In view of a hypoglycemia the brain of alcoholdepended animals utilizes ketonic bodies. Ethanol provokes formation of ketonic bodies. So called "wrong circle” became isolated: the ethanol using → hypoglycemia → formation of ketones → a brain food by ketones → the brain needs for ketones → an organism needs of ethanol. On alcoholreliantal rats with the expressed hypoglycemia and ketosis it is shown that artificial suppression ketosis doesn’t reduce an attraction to ethanol. On the contrary, the long metabolic correction level of glycemia, promotes weakening of a consumption of alcohol and disappearance ketosis. The conclusion is drawn that the necessitate essence to alcohol consists in dependence not from ethanol directly, and from the ketonic bodies which education is initiated by a hypoglycemia.
